This is a Silver Eye It is also called a tauhou,
It lives in found all around New Zealand in gardens, on farms and in forests
Some of its distinctive features are the white ring around it’s eye
Other facts about it are it has some olive green feathers and it likes to sing

ReplyDeleteI have lots of wax eyes visit the bird table that I have in my garden.I like to feed them peanut butter on bread.Wild bird seed.Leftover cat food.Sometimes I even soak bread in warm water for them.
Do you have birds visit your garden?.
